World Pickleball League Partners Sony LIV For Exclusive Digital Streaming

The World Pickleball League (WPBL) has announced Sony LIV as its official digital streaming partner, marking a major boost to the league’s online presence ahead of its action-packed Season 2.

Under this exclusive partnership, all 120 matches of WPBL Season 2 will be available live and on demand on Sony LIV, allowing fans to watch matches, key highlights and exclusive content across devices. The collaboration is aimed at expanding the league’s reach among India’s digitally native and urban sports audiences.

Season 2 of the World Pickleball League will feature seven teams owned by prominent celebrities including Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Atlee, Rishabh Pant, Sunil Gavaskar, Rakul Preet Singh, Jackky Bhagnani, and Riteish and Genelia Deshmukh. The league continues to gain momentum as a fast-growing professional pickleball platform in India.

The World Pickleball League is officially affiliated with the All India Pickleball Association (AIPA), Asia Federation of Pickleball (AFP), and the United World Pickleball Federation (UWPF), reinforcing its credibility on the global stage.

The upcoming season will be bigger in scale, with 120 matches played over 13 days, compared to 90 matches in the inaugural edition. WPBL Season 2 will feature 56 elite players representing 18 countries, further strengthening its international appeal.

With Sony LIV on board, the World Pickleball League aims to deepen fan engagement and accelerate the growth of pickleball as a mainstream sport in India through high-quality digital coverage.
