Lumio Names Varun Nair As Head Of Marketing

Lumio has announced the appointment of Varun Nair as its new Head of Marketing, marking a key step in strengthening the company’s brand and go-to-market ambitions. In his new role, Varun will be responsible for shaping Lumio’s overall brand narrative, marketing strategy, and market execution as the company builds a distinctive home entertainment brand anchored in community, storytelling, and consumer-centric thinking.

With more than a decade of experience across brand strategy, media, digital marketing, community building, and product marketing, Varun brings a well-rounded perspective to the role. He joins Lumio from POCO India, where he served as Head of Brand Marketing, overseeing brand strategy, media investments, social platforms, community initiatives, and partnerships. His work at POCO helped create strong consumer affinity in a highly competitive smartphone market.

Before POCO, Varun led public relations, brand, and digital marketing for TI Cycles of India’s cycles and electric vehicle businesses. During his tenure, he contributed to brand repositioning efforts, digital transformation initiatives, and the launch of EV products. His earlier career includes leadership stints at agencies such as 22feet Tribal Worldwide and Experience Commerce, where he worked on leading brands including Toyota, Lexus, Lenovo, MRF, and Amazon. Varun began his professional journey at Ogilvy.
