Saurabh Saksena, former President of VML India, has announced the launch of SAULV, a new integrated communications agency designed to bring together imagination and artificial intelligence to unlock transformative opportunities for brands and businesses.
Through SAULV, Saksena aims to redefine how modern marketing and strategic communications operate in an increasingly AI-driven landscape. Sharing the launch on LinkedIn, he invited brands to explore the agency’s approach, saying, “If there’s something keeping you up at night, maybe it’s time to SAULV it.”
Saksena brings with him more than three decades of experience spanning advertising, integrated marketing, consumer behaviour, and business leadership. Prior to founding SAULV, he served as President of VML India, a role he exited in mid-2024 following the global merger of VMLY&R and Wunderman Thompson.
SAULV’s offering is centred on combining strategic communications, full-funnel amplification, creative and content craftsmanship, and large-scale AI-powered production. The agency’s goal is to help brands move beyond conventional storytelling and build deeper, more meaningful connections with their audiences.
Reflecting on his journey over the past year and a half, Saksena shared that he has simultaneously embraced the roles of learner, practitioner, and creator. He credits this period with strengthening his entrepreneurial discipline and deepening his practical engagement with generative AI as a catalyst for creative growth. The experience, he notes, has also pushed him to revisit and relearn the fundamentals of building and running operations from the ground up.
