Bengaluru, 11 November 2025: Simple Energy, a Bengaluru-based automotive company, has announced the appointments of Jitin Johnson as Head of Marketing and Kevin Thomas as Head of Brand, to strengthen its nationwide growth strategy. Alongside these key leadership additions, the company has expanded its marketing team to over 40 professionals to drive the next phase of brand and business expansion. This move underscores Simple Energy’s commitment to accelerating its pan-India footprint, with plans to establish 150 retail stores and 200 service centers across the country by March 2026.
With 14 years of marketing experience, Jitin Johnson joins Simple Energy after serving as Assistant General Manager – Digital Marketing at River. In his new role, Johnson will lead Simple Energy’s omnichannel marketing strategy, covering brand development, go-to-market initiatives, digital transformation, and customer engagement. His efforts will be pivotal in delivering innovative customer experiences across both digital and physical touchpoints.

As Head of Brand, Kevin Thomas brings over 13 years of expertise in Creative Direction and Visual Design. He most recently served as Principal Visual Designer at Ultraviolette Automotive concluding his tenure this April. Throughout his career, he has held key leadership roles at globally recognized brands such as Amazon, Motorola and OnePlus, driving innovation and creative excellence in design.

Simple Energy aims to strengthen its leadership in electric mobility with its latest offerings, the Simple ONE Gen 1.5 and Simple OneS, which deliver industry-leading IDC ranges of 248 km and 181 km, respectively. The company has also become India’s first OEM to commercially manufacture heavy rare-earth-free motors and the first to introduce an 8-year motor warranty. With 61 retail outlets across key cities including Bengaluru, Goa, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Jaipur, Simple Energy is now preparing to expand into five new markets, including Delhi and Patna.
