Monks India, the digital-first, data-driven agency under S4Capital plc, has appointed Rajat Mendhi as Head of Planning, effective immediately. Mendhi will lead the agency’s strategic planning and cultural insight function, driving campaigns that balance cultural relevance with business impact.
In his new role, Mendhi will work closely with Ketan Desai, Managing Director of Monks India; Sandipan Bhattacharyya, Chief Creative Officer; and Niranjan Singh, Head of Media, as Monks strengthens its integrated offering across strategy, creative, media, and data in India.
Rajat Mendhi brings extensive experience from his tenure at BBDO India, where he played a pivotal role in delivering iconic campaigns such as Ariel’s #ShareTheLoad and Whisper’s #TouchThePickle. These campaigns not only sparked national conversations but also earned global recognition, including India’s first Cannes Glass Lion Grand Prix. Recognized among the Top 10 planners globally by The Big Won Report, Mendhi has also led initiatives beyond advertising, including Bombay Picnics, a storytelling-driven food and culture project, and consulting for restaurants, hotels, and beverage brands.
