PRISM Appoints Ankit Tandon as Global COO and CEO for Europe

PRISM, the parent company of travel-tech giant OYO, has announced a significant leadership reshuffle as part of its ongoing global expansion and corporate transformation. The company has elevated Ankit Tandon to the role of Global Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Executive Officer, Europe, while appointing Varun Jain as COO, Asia.

The leadership changes come shortly after PRISM’s major corporate rebranding in September, when the IPO-bound firm officially changed its name from Oravel Stays Limited to PRISM — signaling a new chapter in its global growth journey.

In his expanded role, Ankit Tandon will oversee PRISM’s global business performance and operations across multiple markets, including Europe and the United States. He will also continue to lead PRISM’s Vacation Homes division, which comprises international brands such as Belvilla, DanCenter, Sunday Hotels, CheckMyGuest (France), and MadeComfy (Australia).

Tandon, who currently serves as CEO of OYO Vacation Homes, will play a pivotal role in driving operational efficiency and enhancing the brand’s footprint in key regions. His leadership will extend to PRISM’s U.S. portfolio, including G6 Hospitality—the parent company of Motel 6 and Studio 6.

Under the new structure:

  • Puneet Yadav, UK Country Head, will report directly to Tandon.

  • Sonal Sinha, CEO of G6 Hospitality, will collaborate closely with both Tandon and Ritesh Agarwal, Founder and Group CEO of PRISM.

  • Varun Jain, previously COO, India, will now lead PRISM’s operations in Asia and oversee Traum Ferienwohnungen, the company’s listing business based in Germany.

  • Shreerang Godbole will continue as Chief Service Officer, managing operations at DanCenter and leading the integration and growth of MadeComfy (Australia).

  • Shirish Damani has also been appointed COO, Europe Homes & Hotels, further strengthening PRISM’s leadership in the region.

The leadership realignment underscores PRISM’s commitment to scaling its presence across 35 countries and solidifying its position as a global leader in the hospitality and travel technology ecosystem.

PRISM’s global expansion is further supported by its strong performance in FY25, during which OYO’s advertising spend increased by 155% to ₹170 crore, signaling aggressive marketing efforts to strengthen brand visibility worldwide.

As PRISM continues to innovate and evolve, the company aims to create a more unified, efficient, and consumer-focused hospitality network — aligning with its mission to redefine travel experiences globally.
