Gulf Oil Lubricants India Appoints Aarthy Sridhar as CMO

Gulf Oil Lubricants India, a key player in the lubricants industry, has named Aarthy Sridhar as its new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). In this role, she will lead the company’s marketing initiatives and brand strategy, driving Gulf Oil’s transformation into a marketing-led organization.

Sridhar brings over 13 years of experience in brand building and category leadership from Hindustan Unilever (HUL), where she played a pivotal role in shaping marketing strategy, portfolio transformation, and P&L management. During her tenure at HUL, she drove strategic growth across major portfolios, including beauty, home care, and ice creams. Her expertise spans successful brand launches, category creation, premiumisation, and portfolio expansion for well-known brands such as Lakmé, Surf Excel, Comfort, and Magnum.

Gulf Oil states that this appointment highlights its commitment to strengthening marketing capabilities, ensuring it stays ahead of market trends while delivering superior value to stakeholders. Sridhar will report to Abhijit Kulkarni, the recently appointed Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of the company.
