Ogilvy has promoted Sujoy Roy and Nitin Srivastava to Chief Creative Officers (CCOs) for its Gurugram office.
Sujoy Roy, who joined Ogilvy as a copywriter two decades ago, has worked across the agency’s Mumbai, Kolkata, and Colombo offices. Holding a diploma in fine arts, he has excelled in both art and copy. Seven years ago, he established the Ogilvy Design Cell, which he now leads across Ogilvy India.
Throughout his career, Roy has earned prestigious industry accolades, including Cannes Lions, Clio, One Show, London International Festival, Ad Fest Asia Pacific, and Young Guns, along with major Indian advertising awards. He has worked with top brands like Coca-Cola, Nestlé, Unilever, Marico, ITC, Asian Paints, Zandu, M P Birla, Pantaloons, and Eveready. His contributions to Ogilvy East include impactful Bengali-language campaigns that resonate with regional audiences.
Nitin Srivastava, a painter-turned-designer and art director, brings over 25 years of experience. A graduate of Delhi College of Art and Central Saint Martins, London, he currently serves as Senior Executive Creative Director and Creative Head (Luxury & Beauty) at Ogilvy North.
Srivastava has played a key role in shaping brands like Coca-Cola, Absolut, Chivas, Jameson, MINI, The Park Hotels, Incredible India, and WWF, while also contributing significantly to the development of Pernod Ricard’s alcobev portfolio. His creative excellence has earned him over 100 awards, including Cannes Lions, D&AD, The One Show, Clio, London International, and Adfest. His work has been showcased in Communication Arts and The Best of Ogilvy Worldwide, and he has served on multiple international juries.
