Flipkart has elevated Viveka Sra to Director — Brand Marketing. Sra announced the news of her appointment in a LinkedIn post.
Sra has been a key player in Flipkart’s growth for nearly three years. She began her journey with the company in January 2022 as the Associate Director of Brand Marketing (Fashion), where she spearheaded integrated brand campaigns across various channels — ATL, BTL, on-platform, and media innovations. Her efforts were instrumental in unlocking new growth opportunities, particularly in recruiting high-affluent consumers.
In November 2022, Sra was promoted to her current position as Associate Director of Brand Marketing | Brand Flipkart. In this capacity, she has led multiple successful integrated brand campaigns across digital, ATL, BTL, and on-platform channels, driving sustainable traffic growth for Flipkart and reinforcing its brand positioning in the market.
Before joining Flipkart, Sra had an extensive career at Unilever, spanning over seven years. She started with Hindustan Unilever in 2013 as a Sales and Marketing Intern, where she created a growth program for Surf Excel Matic Powders by utilizing global insights from markets like Turkey and Vietnam. Her growth at Unilever continued rapidly, and by 2014, she joined the Unilever Future Leadership Program as a Management Trainee (Sales and Marketing). In 2015, she was named Area Sales and Customer Manager for Pureit in Gujarat and Mumbai, and by 2020, Sra became Senior Brand Manager – Surface Cleaners.
Sra’s professional journey began even earlier, in January 2011, when she took on the role of Project Intern at Oracle. By July 2011, she was promoted to Associate Applications Engineer, laying the foundation for her successful career in marketing and brand management.
