Industry Stalwart Amit Gujral Ends Tenure as JK Tyre CMO After Transformative 5-Year Stint

Mumbai, October 28, 2024: Amit Gujral, Chief Marketing Officer of JK Tyre & Industries, moves on from the organisation after completing a successful five-year tenure, industry sources confirm.

A marketing veteran with over 28 years of experience, Gujral has been instrumental in strengthening JK Tyre’s brand presence across India. His expertise spans brand and product marketing, advertising, product planning, value added services, R&D and business strategy.

Prior to joining JK Tyre, he served as CMO at LG Electronics India for 16 years, where he played a pivotal role in establishing LG as a household name in the Indian consumer electronics market.

During his tenure at JK Tyre, Gujral’s most notable contribution was the widely acclaimed campaign ‘JK Tyre Desh Ka Tyre – Jab Hindustan Mile Hindustan Se’. The campaign successfully reinforced JK Tyre’s position as a truly Indian brand with global aspirations.

A recipient of numerous industry accolades, Gujral is also known for his creative pursuits as a lyricist and poet. He has served as a jury member for various prestigious marketing awards.
