Himanshu Khanna Joins CKA Birla Group as Group Chief Marketing Officer

Himanshu Khanna has been appointed Group Chief Marketing Officer at CKA Birla Group, according to industry sources aware of the development.

Before this move, Khanna served as Chief Marketing Officer of the Lifestyle Division at Raymond Limited. Since August 2021, he led the transformation of the company’s nearly $1-billion lifestyle portfolio, steering it toward a more consumer-focused and digital-first approach. His tenure was marked by significant retail expansion and brand modernization initiatives.

At Raymond, Khanna managed brand strategy and growth across a broad portfolio that included Raymond Suiting and Shirting, Park Avenue, ColorPlus, Parx, Ethnix by Raymond, Ready-to-Wear, Raymond Home and Raymond Made-to-Measure. He also oversaw retail marketing, digital marketing, consumer insights, visual merchandising, and brand protection.

Earlier, Khanna was Business Head of the FMCG division at RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group, where he held full profit and loss responsibility. During this period, he accelerated the growth of the snack brand Too Yumm!, substantially increasing monthly revenues. He also managed the acquisition and integration of Apricot Foods, leading a comprehensive business turnaround.

With a career spanning over three decades, Khanna has held senior marketing leadership positions at global companies including Beam Suntory, Wrigley Company, PepsiCo, Cadbury, and Nestlé.

Khanna is regarded within the industry as a dynamic marketing leader and is frequently invited to speak at prominent industry forums.
